Before you order
Practical answers from the Platts Pets team.
Single contains one compressed woodshavings bale, Duo contains two and Trio contains three. Each bale weighs approximately 4kg and measures around 31 × 41 × 14cm. The bedding is the same in every pack; only the number of bales changes.
No dust-free claim is made. Our woodshavings are dust-extracted, which describes a processing step rather than the complete absence of dust. We do not claim that the bedding prevents or treats respiratory problems.
If you need more information before choosing bedding, email hello@plattspets.co.uk.
Usage depends on the enclosure size, bedding depth and cleaning routine. We do not publish a tested number of bedding changes per bale. Single gives you one bale to try; Duo and Trio provide more of the same bedding to keep in reserve.
Choose bedding around your pet’s species and enclosure requirements. If you are unsure whether these woodshavings suit your setup, ask our team before ordering. Product information is not a veterinary recommendation.
The packaging is home compostable. An empty pack can also be reused as a food-caddy liner where your council accepts compostable liners. Check local requirements before putting it in collected food waste.
