Platts Pets is part of the Platts Agriculture family, proudly based in Wrexham, North Wales. What started back in 1973 as a family-run business has grown into over 50 years of experience creating high-quality, sustainable animal bedding, and we’re still going strong.

Thanks to our passion for quality (and doing things the right way), we’ve become one of the UK’s leading names in animal bedding, supplying customers all across the country. We even had the honour of holding a Royal Warrant for supplying animal bedding to the Royal Household - not bad for a business that began at home.

Behind the scenes is our brilliant team of Platts People, working across three sites in Wrexham. We’re proud to be a key local employer in the Llay area and love playing our part in supporting the community around us.

After questions from some of our customers about whether or not we supplied bedding for small animals, we realised that we could do just that!

With family at the heart of our business and as pet lovers ourselves, we know that pets become an extension of the family and we want them to have the best when it comes to keeping clean, comfortable and warm.

Utilising our network of suppliers and our excellent production facilities, we adapted our bales to the perfect size for pet owners and now your small furry friends can benefit from our premium wood shavings too!
