  • Wet or soiled wood shavings should be removed daily, with a full bedding change around once a week. Check out our blog for lots more tips on caring for your small animal.

  • You should cover the bottoms of your pet's cage, with a thickness of around 3-6cm. Make sure to add some larger piles in the corners so your small animal can burrow and nest in their cosy new home. Take a look at our blog for lots more tips on caring for your small animal.

  • We don’t process product returns, but if you have an issue with your product please get in touch and we can arrange a replacement or refund.

  • We process all deliveries as quickly as possible and aim to have your products delivered in 3-5 working days.

  • Our wood shavings are kiln-dried and dust-extracted which means that not only are they safe for your pet, but they provide a clean and comfortable home for your furry family member.

  • Our bales measure approximately 31cm wide X 41cm high X 14cm deep. The bales are compressed and so the shavings are packed in tight and expand once the bale is opened.

  • No, you cannot dispose of your wood shavings in the compost, but they are biodegradable so you can place them in your green bin. However, our packaging is 100% compostable and can be placed in your food bin.

  • Yes, our natural wood shavings are very absorbent, meaning they keep your pets comfortable and unwanted smells at bay.

  • Yes, our wood shavings are made from natural materials and our kiln-dried leaving them dust-free. This means they are really absorbent and great at controlling unwanted odours.

  • Our packaging is made from potato starch and is 100% compostable. All our bales are sent our in recyclable cardboard and all of our wood shavings are UK sourced. Our sustainability is something we’re really proud of!

  • Our packaging is 100% compostable which means you can add it to your compost heap or food bin (Top Tip: cut it open at one end and use it as a food waste bag in your kitchen caddy). If you don’t have these, you can pop the packaging into your general waste bin.
